Supplemental Terms & Conditions
Your
Participation is governed by the Program Administrator, Maritz, Inc., pursuant to
the Participant Agreement
Your Participation is also subject to Supplemental Terms and Conditions, of the Program Sponsor, New Jersey Lawyers Service, LLC.
The following terms and conditions supplement and amend those set forth above in the Participant Agreement Awards Bank System Account Holder Terms and Conditions (hereafter "Participant Agreement"):
- Program Sponsor:
New Jersey Lawyers Service, LLC, its affiliates and assigns, (hereafter NJLS) is
the "Sponsor" of your "Rewards Account" and the funder of the "Rewards Program"
as these terms are used in the Participant Agreement.
Maritz, Inc., is the "Rewards Program Administrator" who maintains and operates
the "Rewards Web Site"
on behalf of NJLS.
- Participant
Agreement: The Participant Agreement
appearing above is a static copy provided for convenience only. It is the then most
recent version of the Participant Agreement at
the time such copy was made. The actual Participant Agreement,
supplemented by these supplemental terms and conditions, appears and is available
for inspection upon log
in to the Rewards Web Site. To the extent there is any discrepancy between
the terms and conditions of the Participant Agreement
set forth above and the most up to date version appearing on the Rewards web site,
the terms and conditions on the Rewards web site control. Conversely, to the extent
there is any conflict between these supplemental terms and conditions and those
appearing on the Rewards web site, these supplemental terms and conditions apply.
- Reward Points
- Account Eligibility: Participation in the Rewards Program is on a User
by User basis, and exclusively for those Users who have active registered individual
User Shipment Accounts on the NJLS Shipment Center Website.
Such Users must (i) be associated with an active NJLS Billing Account; (ii) which
Billing Account is approved and authorized for online shipping; and (iii) posses
a valid and active email address. Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, NJLS
reserves the right, in its complete and total discretion, to terminate, suspend,
invalidate or otherwise render ineligible any User at any time from participation,
or continued participation, in the Rewards Program.
- Reward Points
Issuance & Accumulation: Users accumulate points by usage of the various
shipment and related services offered by NJLS on the NJLS Shipment
Center Website while logged into their individual User Shipment Account.
At the conclusion of each monthly billing cycle, NJLS will calculate and allocate
points to each User based exclusively on the services ordered and used by that User
at the rate of one (1) point for each one dollar ($1) of service actually used.
For example, if a User sends out 25 overnight Next-Day shipments in a particular
month, at that User's account rate of $4.00 per item, then, subject to the conditions
of point reduction and forfeiture set forth below, 100 points will be allocated
to the User's Rewards Account. All points allocated monthly will be accumulated
into the User's Rewards Account as maintained on the Rewards Web Site.
- Reward Points
Reduction & Forfeiture: Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, NJLS
reserves the right, in its complete and total discretion, to reduce, diminish, nullify
or cause points which would have otherwise been allocated and accumulated to become
lost or forfeited, including those points which may have already been accumulated
into a User's Rewards Account, in the event the NJLS Billing Account with which
the User is associated should not be in good standing at the time rewards points
are calculated and allocated. The primary reason(s) for a Billing Account not to
be in good standing is the Account's failure to make a payment on its outstanding
balance within the past 30 days and/or a past due balance on the account which is
greater than the account's current monthly usage. When an account is not in good
standing, it will affect and cause point reduction and forfeiture for all Users
associated with that NJLS billing account. NJLS' failure to enforce its point reduction
and forfeiture policies at any time with regard to any Billing Account or User shall
not be considered a waiver of its right to exercise and enforce such policies with
regard to the same, or other, Accounts or Users at a later time.
- Reward Points
Transferability & Combining: Participation in the Rewards Program is on
a User by User basis. Users are not permitted to combine or transfer points between
or among existing Rewards Accounts.
- Reward Points
Expiration: Reward points have no expiration and Users may continue to
accumulate points indefinitely to save for rewards prizes which carry significant
redemption amounts, subject only to the provisions on reduction and forfeiture set
forth above.
- Opt out of
Rewards Program: Individual Users and/or an entire Billing Account may
opt out of participation of our Preferred Partners Rewards Program by sending email
(support@njls.com) or written correspondence
to: New Jersey Lawyers Service, 2333 Route 22 West, Union, NJ, 07083. Please be
sure to indicate in the reference line of your email or letter, "Rewards Program
Opt Out Request." Rewards program rules require us to receive these requests in
writing, no phone calls please.
- Changes to theses Supplemental Terms and Conditions: NJLS reserves the right to modify, change or amend these Supplemental Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. The most current and up-to-date version of these Supplemental Terms and Conditions appears on the NJLS Website.
